Robert Huggett is the leader of Renaissance Footnotes. He arranges all the programs of dances and is responsible for interpreting the choreography of the dance performances. He has been researching and performing historical dances since 1987. In this time he has led numerous workshops for a wide range of students, choreographed several professional performances, and danced semi-professionally at Hampton Court Palace on a number of occasions. He also organised and led the dancers at the well known Kentwell Tudor recreation for many years. He has been running Basingstoke Early Dance since 1993. Robert plays lute and renaissance recorders.
